Textured Stamping

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I love textured stamping!  This is Zoya Dahlia (2 coats), a black with silver sparkles textured polish from the Pixiedust line.  I stamped with Wet n Wild Chrome Steel the Spotlight, which is a warm silver foil, and the pattern is from Cheeky XL Plate D.  Steel the Spotlight was very easy to stamp with and this mani was simple and quick.  My base coat was Nailtek II Intensive Therapy.  No top coat needed!

Wingdust Seaweed Salad

Jelly!! This is the beautiful Seaweed Salad from Wingdust.  This is my first polish from Wingdust and it applied wonderfully.  It has a creamy seafoamy green jelly base with two sizes of small metallic green hexes and silver shimmer.  It applies smoothly and only needed one thin coat of HK Girl top coat.  I used Nailtek II Intensive Therapy as base coat, followed by a coat of Picture Polish Revolution, the Seaweed Salad (2 coats).  The squishy jelly finish is fantastic and I think next time I will stamp on top of it.  I just ordered the new Bundle Monster Create Your Own stamping plates, so maybe the awesome octopus on top?

Fanchromatic Nails Between Two Worlds

This polish is very fitting for autumn and is made by Fanchromatic Nails, an indie producer with scifi and fantasy themed polish.  It has a greyed purple base with bronze, green, and brown hexes with tiny silver hexes scattered throughout.  It applies well, but make sure you wait in between coats or you will get glitter clumping like I did.  I used 3 coats over a base of Seche Clear Base Coat (not my favorite,, but I got it for free) and topped with Glisten and Glow’s HK Girl.  Removal was fairly easy for me because I also threw a coat of Picture Polish Revolution glitter base coat on before applying Between Two Worlds.

Coral Reef Mani

Yea, it know it’s autumn now and this is a little late, but I happen to really love this mani a lot!  It makes me think of a coral reef in the tropics.

On my pinky and pointer I have Happy Hands Tropical Storm (3 coats).  I love anything from Happy Hands, everything applies so smoothly and as long as you let the coats dry before putting on another, you will get no glitter clumping.  I love the pops of orange glitter in the middle of the light blue jelly base with small holo blue hexes, gold squares, and tiny gold hexes.  It really looks like debris floating in water!

On my middle and ring I am wearing Essie Saturday Disco Fever which is a bright orange crelly stamped with Color Club Kismet which is a greenish gold holo.  It didn’t stamp as boldly as I wanted, but it still has a nice subtle effect that I like.  The stamp pattern makes me think of waves of coral in the water.  The pattern came from Cheeky XL Plate D.

I used Nailtek II Intensive Therapy as my base coat and topped everything off with Glisten and Glow’s HK Girl.

Jindie Nails Moon Walk LE

Hey everyone!! Let me explain something to everyone so there is no confusion.  I am new to the blogging world, but I have been taking pictures of my nails for a long time now so I will be posting all of my older manis as well as new manis.  Therefore, you will see different lengths frequently.  Also, I do not have a good camera so I just use my phone…until I manage to get a good camera one day…applying for med school has been eating up my funds.  Well alright, enough of that, let’s get to the nails!!

This is Jindie Nails Moon Walk LE (3 coats).  It has a hot pink (camera washes the color out a bit) jelly base with large, medium, and small circle glitters in silver and black as well as black and silver moon glitters.  I believe the silver is holo, but it was hard for me to tell since the hot pink jelly covers the holo a bit.  There is also a fine silver shimmer in the jelly base as well.  I have the smaller bottle and I had to fish for the bigger glitters, but with small bottles this is always the case.  It applies very smoothly like most Jindie Nail polishes normally do and I simply used a coat of HK Girl as my top coat to smooth it out.  I used one coat of Nailtek II Intensive Therapy as my base coat and I did not have any staining after removal.  Removal was slightly difficult due to the glitter like all glitter polishes, but I also forgot to add an undercoat of Picture Polish Revolution glitter base which is a step I usually add if I am wearing a glitter polish.

Halloween Mani

Hey everyone, this is my first post on my first blog!!

I have a Halloween mani to show you all.  Please excuse the extra dry skin, my hands are having a hard time at the hospital…:(

On the pointer and pinky I used Hare Polish Heat Plague (3 coats) stamped with China Glaze Passion Cheeky XL plate B.

On the middle and ring I used Zoya Carter (textured, 2 coats) stamped with China Glaze Passion Cheeky XL plate B.

Aside from my extremely bad looking fingers, I really liked this mani and got lots of compliments on it.  I happen to love green and purple together and this combines both with a Halloween/Fall is Coming feel.

I hope you guys like it and there is more to come!
